Gamers who pre-order Banjo Kazooie: Nuts & Bolts will be provided with a redeemable code that will provide the Xbox Live Arcade game for free, and earlier than its official release date.
The code will activate on Kazooie’s launch day, November 18th, but the XBLA title will be released to the public, two weeks later.
The promotion will of course be exclusive to participating retailers, and participating countries. Only North America is confirmed so far. We’ll provide information on a European information when it becomes available.
The Xbox Live Arcade game in question is a port of the first Banjo Kazooie, released on Nintendo 64 in 1998. Ten years later, Rare has announced that the ill-fated Stop ‘N’ Swop system will be implemented into the XBLA re-release, offering new content to Nuts & Bolts players.

Following a rumour that leaked just before E3 kicked off, achievements have hit the Internet for an Xbox Live Arcade release of Duke Nukem 3D.
Sites such as Achieve360Points.com find these achievements when someone (usually a developer) takes the game online. This type of slip-up previously confirmed Geometry Wars 2 and readied gamers for the release of Lumines Live.
The 200 point earning trophies are awarded for completing sections of the game, as well as tipping a stripper, stepping in a dog turd and completing the first stage in under 3 minutes. The potential accomplishments also confirm that Episode 4: The Birth (featuring 11 levels) from the Duke Nukem Plutonium Pak will be in the port, as well as online Dukematch.
Now the game has officially hit certification, Duke Nukem 3D should be out before the end of the year.
