quake 3
This has got to be the biggest gaming event of the year, so far atleast. Finally we have video proof along to support the latest Apple claims that it has figured out a way to bring Quake 3 to the iPod touch making it compatible with portable LAN party play. The first-person shooter lets you move characters around using the device’s built-in accelerometer and you shoot by tapping the screen, which looks like it could really suck all the spontaneity out of the entire game. Might be worth a try for the iPod Touch/iPhone next-gen-ness if not for the love of the game! Watch some dude enjoy the cool new app on his touch while you wait to get yours.
