The guys at Ripten have ‘geeked-out’ a PC case, based on the Fallout 3 old school theme. As we can see, the system is designed in the shape of a classic 1961 Soviet TV receiver REKORD set with a hardwood exterior panel the “Please Stand By” logo, which is used during war time. The second photo shows the inside guts of the system, with each part systematically laid out for easy modification. From the looks of it, you could certainly fit some cool junk in there if the time came for future upgrades. This little mod could certainly put you into the mood when playing Fallout 3.

Holy cow does that Y’s Book I and II game from the TG-16 sound tempting. This week, along with the Y’s pack, we’re getting a music/rhythm game from WiiWare and Samurai Showdown II from the Neo Geo. Overall, not a bad start to the week, be sure to check the videos below the press release!

SAMURAI SHODOWN 2 (NEOGEO, 1-2 players, Rated T for Teen-Blood, Language, Tobacco Reference, Violence, 900 Wii Points): First released in 1994, this fighting game follows 15 samurai in their individual quests. The rage system, which was popular in the first game, has been further enhanced. Not only does attack power rise when the gauge is full, but the player can also use a special technique that can break the opponent’s weapon and force the opponent to fight unarmed. The game also allows for more movement techniques such as back-stepping, rushing forward and ducking, allowing for even more strategies. A fun and important detail of this game: One of the new characters, Cham Cham, was voiced by voice actress Reiko Chiba, an idol in the gaming community.
The gorgeous school-goers are at display yet again. Final Fantasy Agito XIII is back in the news with three new screenshots. Along with them, Famitsu has also uploaded some info on the game itself. The prospective PSP title, as must be already known, is an online RPG. The action once again is set in Akademeia but hopes are in for a larger environ. The plot has a backdrop of war and is about how students deal with it. As far as the gameplay is concerned, we do know it is card-based and there’s a Crisis Core-type battle system. The latest screens put on display three of the twelve playable characters and also put on display a battle scene. Two of these screens follow after jump.
