An event is going to be hosted by Microsoft in Japan tomorrow June 10th and everyone is anticipating that quite a few of our favorite RPGs are going to be announced or information regarding them is going to be released.
This event that is being held in Japan is going to be pretty sweet because I’m looking forward to seeing what Microsoft has to say. Microsoft is probably just going to put out some teasers and leave because frankly no one has any idea what’s going to happen other than what the title implies.
So, being that it is in Japan and given that it is named, “Xbox 360 RPG Premiere 2008″ we are guessing it is going to have something to do with some game releases and possibly some company updates. This is looking to be a pretty packed week with all the new releases happening this and last week Microsoft looks like they’re wanting in the fun as well. But I’m going to remain skeptical about it until I see what exactly happened in that Premiere because frankly, it might just be a bunch of nothing. It could just be another example of Microsoft grabbing the headlines like most celebrity drama queens. But of course, I’m sure there are going to be release dates announced and among other things some updates on games already in production.
I’m hoping for them to announce another Gaiden or something along those lines because if they do then that’s another score for the Xbox 360’s ratings. I’ll post an update once I get news on what the premiere was all about.
